My ultimate educational goal is to specialize in intellectual property law as a Juris Doctorate degree holder. To achieve this, I plan to attend law school immediately after graduating from Spelman. I have carefully chosen academic and professional experiences to prepare for this path. Interning with organizations like the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, OMBI Law Group, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund has given me a strong foundation in legal advocacy.

I want to create opportunities for young Black filmmakers to break into the industry, offering them a platform that I wished existed for myself. I also plan to support Morehouse’s film program by providing funding for equipment and offering scholarships to students in need. Like me, many Black students face financial hurdles that can

stand in the way of their education.

I am committed to giving back to my community, including Morehouse, in several ways. I  have been fortunate to mentor underserved youth in the Atlanta area as an Oprah Scholar, an  experience that has shown me the transformative power of education and mentorship. I plan to  continue mentoring students, particularly those interested in business and finance, helping them  navigate their educational and career journeys. In addition, I aim to use my skills in financial literacy to  develop initiatives that empower communities by teaching them how to manage their finances, invest,  and build generational wealth. As an aspiring CPA, I intend to give back to Morehouse by offering  guidance and mentorship to future students, ensuring that they have the resources and support they  need to thrive.
